Part 2 — Create a song following all the requirements set by your teacher.

Your song must…

have its own title (not “My Song”)
be at least 10 measures long
fill every measure completely (no leftover beats)
use notes of at least 3 different durations
use notes of at least 4 different pitches
include at least one chord (2 or more notes played at once)
use at least one dotted note
use rests of at least 2 different durations
repeat a rhythm of 3 notes or more (songs like London Bridge or Happy Birthday have repeated rhythms)

Part 3 — Analyze your song one measure at a time. Under Mixed Operations, group notes of the same length as n(fraction) and add the groups. Under Simplified, rewrite those same terms as fractions with common denominators. The Total is the whole measure in simplest form.
