How to Play OC Memory
Match every pair of colors by remembering where they are hidden.
Goal
The board is full of black tiles. Every tile hides a color, and every
color appears on exactly two tiles. Find all the matching pairs to clear the board.
Starting a Game
1 Click PLAY.
2 Choose 1 Player or 2 Players.
3 Choose 16 Tiles (4×4) or 36 Tiles (6×6).
Playing
- Tap a tile to reveal its hidden color.
- Tap a second tile to try to find its match:
- Match — the two tiles turn
white and stay cleared.
- No match — the tiles flip back to
black after a moment. Try to remember those colors!
- Keep going until every pair is matched and the whole board is cleared.
Watch the tiles above — that's exactly what happens when you tap two tiles.
1 Player — Beat the Clock
- A timer counts up while you play.
- Clear the whole board as fast as you can.
- When you finish, your time is shown — try to beat it next time!
2 Players — Take Turns
- Players take turns. The highlighted score shows whose turn it is.
- Find a match → score a point and go again.
- Miss → it becomes the other player's turn.
- When the board is cleared, the player with the most matches wins.
Menu Buttons
- PLAY — start a new game
- RESTART — start over and pick players/tiles again
- QUIT — return to the title screen
- INFO — this page
Tips
- Tiles respond instantly — tap as quickly as you like.
- Correct matches clear almost immediately; misses stay visible a little
longer so you have time to memorize them.
- Not playing? The computer demos a game by itself on the title screen —
watch it for strategy ideas, then click PLAY to take over.
